We are committed to ensuring that our children feel happy and safe at school and that they always have someone to talk to.
Pupil Wellbeing
At De Bohun, pupil wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to supporting children in developing the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to care for their bodies, minds and relationships.
Through a focus on self-esteem, emotional intelligence and positive mental health, our pupils learn how to understand and manage their feelings effectively.
We promote healthy lifestyles by teaching the importance of nutrition, exercise and personal hygiene, alongside strategies for positive emotional wellbeing.
Pupils are also encouraged to build strong social skills through teamwork, communication and respect for diversity, ensuring they grow into resilient, responsible and compassionate individuals.

As part of this, we place great emphasis on online safety, with children learning how to use technology responsibly and celebrating events such as Safer Internet Day to help them navigate the digital world safely and with confidence.
In addition, we provide opportunities for pupils to take part in school council, trips, creative activities and wider cultural experiences that broaden their perspectives and give them a strong sense of belonging.
Our inclusive and supportive environment ensures that every child feels valued, listened to and empowered to achieve their best, both inside and outside the classroom.
